Alexander Obeng-Amoako
1st Vice Chairman
Obeng-Amoako Alexander is a teacher by profession. He attended Opoku Ware Secondary School and read Business. He holds a Teachers’ Certificate ‘A and B.Ed. Social Science (Accounting option) from the University of Cape Coast, then Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He is also a Chartered Accountant (Associate) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG).
He is a Deputy Director of education, an examiner, and a teacher of accounting at the Senior High School level. As a leader in the Methodist Church and a member of Chaplaincy in all schools he has taught, Mr. Obeng-Amoako is greatly involved in church leadership.
He joined the Credit Union fraternity as a member of the St. Joseph the Worker Co-operative Credit Union in the year 2011, where he currently serves as the Board Chairman. By dint of hard work, he was elected as the Chapter Chairman for the Ashanti Chapter of Co-operative Credit Unions and also serves as the 1st Vice Chairman of the Ghana Co-operative Credit Unions Association (CUA).
