Travel for Training

The idea for the implementation of the Travel-for-Training Fund (TFT) by the German Savings Banks Foundation for International Cooperation (SBFIC) is to subsidize the costs and efforts of travelling, particularly of the credit unions located far away from the CUA Training Centre. These credit unions shall be supported to minimize these challenges and to encourage them to attend trainings.

How a Credit Union can benefit from the TFT:

* At the end of a course every participant from the Upper West, Upper East and Northern Region gets a voucher for the next booking of his/her Credit Union to soften the travel expenses.

* Participants from Credit Unions within the Brong-Ahafo, Ashanti, Western, Eastern and Volta Region with assets sizes below GHC 500,000 will receive a voucher.

* The value of the vouchers are dependent on the distances, with the fixed rates remaining the same. Each voucher will have a validity period of one year, and the deductions will continue as long as the funds last.

* Please note that the deduction will follow only on presentation of the original voucher.
