Amakom (ASH),17th Jan,a non banking financial institution based in Kumasi is withnessing a steady growth in its operations.Estabished barely three years ago with 150 members, the company currently boasts of a customer base of about 10,000 with 500 shareholders, across its three branches at Atonsu, Amakom and Suame, all in the Kumasi Metropolis.

Mrs.Regina Tuckson, chairperson of the Union, announced at at a Press briefing in Kumasi on Tuesday.She said her outfit  had employed over fifty young men and women and hoped that more emploment opportunities would be given to the youth with the opening of new branches. Mrs. Tuckson said that the modest gains made within the relatively shorter period was due principally to their outmost trust in the Almighty God and their strict adherence to the principles guiding the operations of Credit Unions.
