CCA – Canadian Co-operative Association

The Canadian Co-operative Association (CCA) has been in partnership with CUA since 1987 and has been providing both financial and technical support to the Credit Union System in Ghana.

The Irish League of Credit Union Foundation later joined the partnership with CCA four years ago. Both institutions are providing support in the following areas:

– Capacity building for CUA Staff including some capital purchases
– Capacity building for Northern Credit Unions
– Gender Mainstreaming
– Youth Savings Programmes
– Health (HIV/AIDs Education and Sensitization Programmes
– Women Mentoring Programmes
– Coaching Programmes
– Youth Internship
– Technical Assistance in Various Specialized Fields
